Mystery ● Kyle Vaughan
Introduction
Kyle Vaughan, aged 24, went missing on December 30th 2012 in Newbridge, Caerphilly, South Wales. Mr Vaughan's vehicle, a silver Peugeot 306, was discovered damaged and abandoned on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys. To date nobody has been charged in relation ton the incident, Kyle was presumed dead by the courts in October of 2016.
The investigation
A lot of mystery still continues to surround the case of the missing, then, 24 year old. It remains unclear as to whether Mr Vaughan had been driving or not, dectetives do believe that the car had been involved in a collision on the road, they believe that Kyle would have been in the condition that he would have been able to walk away from the car following an accident.
Up to 2014, eight people aged 15-62 had been arrested as part of a murder investigation, six of those were arrested on suspicion offences including perverting the course of justice, assisting an offender and murder, they have been released without charge. Two men, from Blackwood, were bailed in 2014 for Kyle's murder but were later released without charges.
In 2015, Kyle's mother, Mary, made a heartfelt plea after being diagnosed with cancer to help bring her son home with more information of what happened to him. Edit- Sadly, on January 1st 2018, Kyle’s mother passed away not knowing what happened to her son.
